This was part of my 'final major exhibition' for foundation graphic design.

The character you see here is Ananas- the imaginary friend of Stephanie Hodges (age 10. Her mother is French- hence Ananas, which means pineapple in French (and also German, I recently discovered)).
As you can tell, I had a lot of time to think up backgrounds and so forth while I worked on this.

Everything you see here is made up of photocopies of my own clothing^* and cartoons, which were then put onto a 38x38cm cardboard set, which was divided into four by two intersecting pieces of card... like this;

(The outside was a perspex box to protect it.)
The photocopies were then glued to cardboard stands to give them depth, and put into the construction.

In the end it was put onto a plinth, and what you see here occupied the 'bottom floor' of the set. (I also divided the four spaces into two separate floors). It looked something like this;
